Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor, and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actor. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to the family's financial problems, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She earned an GED and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
