Tracy Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to parents of Greek descent. Spiridakos made her name as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) Matheson, a character from the NBC sci-fi television series Revolution. Spiridakos is a Canadian actress born and raised to Greek parents in Winnipeg. The family moved to the Greek town Skala located near Sparta at the age of four, and returned to Canada when she turned nine. She is very pleased with her Greek roots and can speak well in Greek. Her high school graduation was in Winnipeg, in 2000. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver for acting in 2007. Within weeks she had landed her debut television role.
